Working Capital Management Practices for Economic Sustainability of the Micro and Small Entrepreneurs in Samar: A Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract
This study examined the working capital management practices and economic sustainability of micro and small enterprises (SMEs) in Samar using a cross-sectional research design. A total of 388 SME owners were selected through stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and Chi-square tests. Results revealed that working capital management practices were moderately implemented, particularly in accounts receivable management, while cash and inventory management practices were low.
