Abstract

This study implemented an agri-fishery development project in Barangays Marupangdan and Astorga, Daram, Samar, focusing on product resource management, value addition, and commercialization. Using value chain analysis and participatory approaches, the project assessed production practices, processing systems, and market access of farmers and fisherfolk. Findings revealed limited post-harvest facilities, weak marketing linkages, and low value-added processing capacities. However, strong community participation and local resource availability supported project implementation. The project enhanced skills in food processing, packaging, and entrepreneurship.
